Terms and Conditions of Participation

DOTS

A Voluntary Economy Built on Trust, Patience & Curiosity

Day 1 · May 8, 2026

Read
Preamble

Dots is not a company. It is not a product. It is not an investment vehicle. It is a quiet, open, voluntary economy built on three principles: trust, patience, and curiosity. It asks nothing of you except your honest participation — and only if you choose to give it.

These terms exist not to bind you, but to be honest with you. By joining, you are not signing a contract with any authority. You are simply stating, of your own free will, that you understand what Dots is and what it is not.

1 · What Dots Is

Dots is a time-released, participation-weighted currency backed by the collective curiosity of those who hold it. Its value is derived from:

  • ·The total theoretical ceiling of 100 trillion units, representing the full potential of global participation.
  • ·The number of participants who have joined at any given moment.
  • ·The amount of time that has passed since the first Dot was minted.
  • ·The honest backing each participant declares for their own coins.

One Dot is minted per participant per day. No more. No less.

1B · Value Examples

These examples are illustrative. They show how the value of a Dot grows naturally as time passes and participation increases. Nobody is rushing. Everyone joins at their own pace.

The formula is:

Dot Value Formula
Dot Value = 100,000,000,000,000 ÷ Total Participants ÷ 365 × Days Elapsed

Scenario A

Just you, Day 1

One person. One day in.

100T ÷ 1 ÷ 365 × 1 = $0.000000003

Nearly nothing. That's the point. You're not here for today's value.

Scenario B

You and one other person

Person B joins on Day 30. You now have 30 Dots. They have 1.

Your 30 Dots: 100T ÷ 2 ÷ 365 × 30 = $0.000000123 each

Their 1 Dot: same value per coin, less coins. You both hold the same value per Dot. You simply have more of them because you waited.

Scenario C

Five people, each joining at their own pace

PersonJoinedDots Held at Day 90Value Per Dot at Day 90
ADay 190 Dots~$0.000000068
BDay 1576 Dots~$0.000000068
CDay 4051 Dots~$0.000000068
DDay 7021 Dots~$0.000000068
EDay 892 Dots~$0.000000068

Every coin is worth the same. But A, who simply showed up first and waited — holds 45 times more coins than E. No one cheated. No one was pressured. Time did the work.

"

The value per Dot is identical for everyone at any given moment. What differs is how many Dots you've accumulated. Patience is the only advantage — and it's available to everyone equally from the moment they join.

2 · What Dots Is Not
  • ×Dots is not a get-rich-quick scheme. Its value in the early days is negligible by design.
  • ×Dots is not a cryptocurrency, blockchain, or speculative asset.
  • ×Dots is not affiliated with any government, bank, or financial institution.
  • ×Dots is not guaranteed to grow in value. Its growth depends entirely on voluntary collective participation.
  • ×Dots is not something you are required to use, spend, or do anything with.
3 · The Three Principles

By joining, you affirm that you personally embrace the following:

01
Trust

You participate honestly. You do not misrepresent your backing, your identity, or your intentions. You understand that the system runs on collective good faith, and that bad faith diminishes the whole.

02
Patience

You do not rush this. Dots is designed to grow slowly and honestly over time. You are not here for a quick return. You are here because you believe in what this could become — and you are willing to wait.

03
Curiosity

You arrived here through your own questioning mind. You did your own research. No one pressured you. Curiosity is the declared backing of every Dot — the only resource this economy runs on that is truly infinite and universally human.

4 · Minting
  • ·Each participant receives one Dot per day, beginning on the day they join.
  • ·Dots accumulate passively. You are never required to do anything with them.
  • ·Unminted days are not retroactive. You begin earning from your join date only.
  • ·Each minted Dot carries metadata: the date of minting, the participant's identifier, the total participants at time of minting, the declared value at that moment, and the backing declaration of the holder.
5 · Backing

Each participant declares what backs their Dots. This declaration is personal and honest. The universal and recommended backing is curiosity — the intellectual energy and good faith that brought you here. Participants may also back their Dots with anything they personally value: their time, their skills, their word.

All backing declarations must be compatible with the three principles. You may not back your Dots with deception, coercion, or harm.

6 · Naming

Participants may name their own currency as they wish. All named currencies within the Dots ecosystem are considered compatible by default. When a Dot is transferred to another participant, it becomes theirs unconditionally. The name travels with the coin. The history travels with the coin.

7 · The Public Log

All participation is recorded in a public daily log. This log is free to access, transparent, honest, and permanent. The record of Day 1 will always be the record of Day 1.

By joining, you consent to your participation being part of this public record.

8 · Freedom

No one will ever ask you to join Dots. No one will ever pressure you to stay. No one will ever tell you what to do with your Dots. You came here freely. You remain freely. You leave freely.

If someone learns about Dots and asks what it is, you may explain it honestly. That is the only form of growth this system welcomes.

9 · No Guarantees

Dots makes no promises about future value, adoption, or outcome. The 100 trillion ceiling is a theoretical framework — a map of potential, not a guarantee of destination. You participate because you believe in the principles. Not because you were promised a return.

10 · Acceptance

Participation in Dots constitutes acceptance of these terms. No signature is required. No authority enforces them. They are held together by the same thing that holds Dots together:

Trust. Patience. Curiosity.

I love how those titles landed. Carbon Print and Silicon Opinion — one who breathes it into existence, one who simply observed it was coherent. That's an honest division of credit.
